Before you book a New York hotel package.
Use the selected rate and your trip details side by side. Settle the room, the inclusions and the cancellation terms before paying.
Fix the room comparison
Use the same dates, room type, bed arrangement, adults and children for each option. Confirm any occupancy restrictions before comparing package extras. A cheaper headline for a different room is a different choice.
Match breakfast to your mornings
Identify the venue, meal or credit, covered guest count and service times. Check children and extra adults, dietary requirements, taxes and tips. Count only the mornings your party can use.
Put parking on a clock
Write down delivery and collection times, vehicle model and dimensions, and whether you need re-entry. Ask for all extra hours and surcharges in the full total. A two-night room booking does not define a parking interval.
Add the full payable total
Include mandatory room fees, taxes, service charges and the extras your party still needs. Compare with the same room booked without the package and the meals or parking you would actually buy.
Read the commitment before paying
Check deposits, payment timing, cancellation deadline and time zone, no-show charges and date-change conditions. Confirm whether changing or cancelling the room also affects the included meals or parking.
Keep the confirmation together
Save the room and inclusion details, full total, booking reference and supplier contact route. For separate theatre tickets or parking, save a separate confirmation and deadline for each reservation.
Put the offer beside a matching room-only rate
Use the same dates, room category, guest count and cancellation terms. Write down the final total for each option before adding extras. If the room-only rate has different payment or refund conditions, decide whether that difference matters before treating it as the cheaper choice.
For breakfast, count the people covered and the mornings you will eat at the hotel. For parking, use your arrival and collection times and your actual vehicle. Assign no value to a meal you will skip or an allowance you cannot use.
Save the details that change the decision
Keep the rate name, inclusions, payment timing and cancellation deadline with the confirmation. For a meal credit, record the eligible outlet and whether tax or gratuity uses the allowance. For parking, record the garage entrance, vehicle supplement and re-entry policy.
Use the breakfast checklist or parking checklist for the questions to settle. The cancellation guide helps keep deadlines for separate suppliers clear.
